The ovoid-shaped Skirt Board is designated for the wet-heat processing of garments both during the entire sewing process and for the final ironing of end products. This Tailor’s Board is called multipurpose, and it is considered to be a must-have tool for all sewers, regardless of how many tools they use in their work.

• Pressing seams open or pressing them to one side (for flattening seams);

• Shaping collars before stitching in neck holes;

• WHP of shoulder areas (on the narrowing part of the working platform);

• WHP of the men’s clothing (shallow darts and breast protuberances);

• Retraction (enlargement of garment parts in their linear dimensions for making concave lines);
• Shrinking overmeasures (reduction of garment parts in their linear dimensions for making protuberances).

The Skirt Tailor’s Board is made out of resinless broadleaved wood species — beech/ash tree. Upholstery: foam + 100% cotton.
